1. Overview & Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Serelle website and services. By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from Serelle, you agree to be bound. If you do not agree, do not use our site.

2. Customer Accounts

By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Serelle is not liable for unauthorized account access.

Serelle reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Contain false, misleading, or incomplete information.
  • Engage in excessive returns (defined as >30% of orders returned within 6 months).
  • Are used to circumvent fraud detection or reward program limits.

3. Birthday Rewards Program

3.1 Enrollment & Consent

By submitting your email and date of birth, you:

  • Consent to creation of a customer account (if none exists).
  • Consent to receive marketing communications.
  • Acknowledge that birthday rewards are a voluntary loyalty benefit, not an entitlement.

3.2 Eligibility (Strict)

Birthday rewards are not guaranteed. To qualify, a customer must, within the 365 days preceding their birthday:

  • Complete a minimum of 5 paid, fulfilled, non-returned purchases.
  • Maintain an account in good standing (no chargebacks, no fraud flags, no unresolved disputes).
  • Have a lifetime order value of at least £250 (or equivalent) – optional but recommended.

3.3 Reward Structure

Rewards are determined solely by Serelle based on:

  • Number of purchases (0 purchases: Discount code, 5–9 purchases: standard reward, 10+ purchases: premium reward).
  • Lifetime order value.
  • Brand engagement (reviews, social shares, email opens – at Serelle’s discretion).

Rewards may include discount codes, store credit, or small gifts. Rewards cannot be combined with other offers.

3.4 Limitations & Forfeiture

  • Non-transferable, no cash value.
  • One reward per customer per 12-month period.
  • Reward codes expire 30 days from issuance.
  • Serelle may disqualify any customer who returns the majority of purchases, abuses discount stacking, or violates any T&C.
  • Program may be modified or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

4. Orders & Payments

All prices are in [GBP/USD/EUR] and exclude applicable taxes/shipping unless stated. Serelle reserves the right to correct pricing errors even after order confirmation.

We accept [list payment methods]. By placing an order, you represent that you are the authorized user of the payment method.

High-value orders (exceeding £1,500) may require signature upon delivery and additional ID verification.

5. Shipping, Delivery & Title

  • Shipping estimates are not guaranteed.
  • Risk of loss and title for jewelry pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. Serelle is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages after handoff, unless you purchased shipping insurance offered at checkout.
  • For orders over [£500], a signature is required at delivery. If you waive signature, you assume all risk of theft.

6. Returns & Refunds

Returns are governed by our separate Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Key protections:

  • Non-returnable items: Custom or personalized jewelry, engraved items, earrings (for hygiene), final sale pieces.
  • Condition: Items must be unworn, unaltered, with original tags and packaging. Serelle reserves the right to refuse returns showing signs of wear, resizing, or damage.
  • Return window: 14 days from delivery (or as required by local law).
  • Refunds: Issued to original payment method after inspection. We may deduct a restocking fee (up to 15%) for non-defective returns.
  • Suspected fraud: If a customer returns a counterfeit or different item, Serelle will deny the refund, blacklist the customer, and pursue legal action.

7. Intellectual Property

All content (product images, descriptions, logos, designs, photography) is the exclusive property of Serelle. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission. Reverse engineering or scraping of our site is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability – Strong Protection

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Serelle’s total liability for any claim arising from your purchase shall not exceed the price you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
  • Serelle shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, emotional distress, or loss of use of jewelry).
  • This limitation applies even if Serelle has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations – in such cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Serelle, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your misuse of our products.
  • Any dispute between you and a third party (e.g., a gift recipient).

10. Privacy (Incorporated)

Our Privacy Policy is part of these Terms. By using our site, you consent to data practices described therein.

11. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your purchase shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting support. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration in court of law.

Class action waiver: You agree to bring any claims only in your individual capacity, not as a class member.

Small claims exception: Either party may bring individual claims in small claims court.
Governing law: English law , excluding conflict of laws principles.

12. Severability & Waiver

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a right does not waive that right.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Return Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Serelle.

14. Updates to Terms

Serelle may revise these Terms at any time. Revised Terms are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use constitutes acceptance.
